Information Technology (Group A-1, Code 01 ) --- 40
Actuary (A-2, 02) -- 25
Accounts / CA (A-3, 03) -- 25
Generalists ( B, 04) -- 289
 * If eligible, you can apply for both groups (Group B & any one in Group A)

Eligibility, as on 31.1.2011: Those looking to apply for NIA AO posts,
* Group A-1: 55% aggregate in M.E/MTech (IT/CS) or MCA or MIT or MCM OR 60% marks in BE/BTech (IT/CS) are eligible for this group
* Group A-2: To apply for this group, 60% in UG or 55% in PG is necessary.Must be a member of Actuarial Society of India. 
* Group A-3: Pass in final of ICWA/ CA OR should have 60% in UG (commerce) or 55% in PG (commerce)
* Group B: Those with aggregate 60% in UG or 55% marks in PG can apply here.
* Age limit: 21 to 30 yrs, as on 1.2.2011

The selection process of New India Assurance AO recruitment has Objective test in  Reasoning, English Language,General awareness,Numerical ability & Professional knowledge.There is also a descriptive test to test english knowledge.

Application: The fees of Rs.500 (Gen/OBC) & Rs.150 (SC/ST) has to be paid by DD payable at Mumbai.Candidates applying for both groups should pay Rs.700(Gen/OBC) or Rs.200(SC/ST).Applications should be sent by ordinary post on or before March 28, 2011, as per the given format along have copies of necessary certificates.
